Visiting a church for the first time can feel a little awkward, especially if it's been a while since you've been to church. We get it! We want to make your first visit to Local as easy and comfortable as possible.

WHEN AND WHERE
We meet every Sunday at 10:00 AM at Patrick Henry High School in Ashland, VA.
We're a church that meets in a school, so things may look a little different from what you're used to. But that's part of who we are! You'll find a relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and a place where you can come as you are.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE
When you walk in, someone from our team will be there to welcome you and help you find your way. Grab a cup of coffee, meet a few people, and make yourself at home.
And don't worry. We're not going to single you out, ask you to stand up, or put you on the spot because you're new.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We love kids at Local! Local Kids provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children from birth through fifth grade.
Our Local Kids Team will help you get your children checked in and answer any questions you might have. Your kids will learn about Jesus in a way that's appropriate for their age.
And if you'd rather keep your children with you during the gathering, that's perfectly fine too!

WHAT I SHOULD I WEAR?
Whatever you're comfortable wearing! You'll see people in jeans, shorts, and casual clothes. There's no dress code, and you don't need to dress up to fit in.
DO I HAVE TO GIVE?
Nope! We take time during our gathering to encourage generosity, but as our guest, we don't expect you to give anything. We're simply glad you're here.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE GATHERING?
Stick around if you'd like! Sundays are a great opportunity to meet people, ask questions, and get to know Local.
We also have Community Groups and other opportunities to build relationships beyond Sunday morning. But there's no pressure to sign up for anything on your first visit.
