Step One: FIRST THINGS FIRST
TRUST JESUS
Everything starts with Jesus.
Christianity is not about becoming a better version of yourself. It begins with trusting what Jesus has done for you through His death and resurrection. We bring Him our sin, our brokenness, and our lives. He gives us grace, forgiveness, and new life. Following Jesus changes everything.
HOW TO START
Admit that you have sinned.
"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard."
Romans 3:23
Believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins.
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."
Romans 5:8
Accept the free gift of forgiveness and be baptized.
"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:9
BAPTISM
In the New Testament, when people trusted Jesus, baptism was their response.
"Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Baptism pictures the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. It is a public declaration that Jesus is Lord and that you are beginning a new life with Him.

Step Three: JOIN LOCAL COMMUNITY
You were never meant to follow Jesus alone. Community Groups are where Sunday morning becomes relationships. We eat together, talk about life, open the Bible, pray for one another, and help each other follow Jesus during the week.

Step Four: JOIN LOCAL TEAM
Church is not something we attend. It is something we are part of. Local Team is made up of people who use their time and abilities to help make Sundays, ministries, and mission happen. There are opportunities to serve with kids, students, hospitality, setup, worship, production, safety, outreach, and more. You do not need to be an expert. You just need to be willing to step in.
