Unwrapping Love

Christmas often disappoints when reality doesn't match our expectations, and love feels strained, disappointing, or unsafe. Yet God's love is different—He didn't wait for us to be ready or perfect. Through the incarnation, God moved into our mess, becoming Emmanuel, 'God with us.' Jesus didn't make a temporary visit but settled into our broken world to restore us from within. Since God stepped into our world to love us sacrificially, we're called to move toward others with that same love, even when it's difficult or costly.
