Finding God in the Storm: Lessons from Psalm 42

This weekend, we were honored to hear from Seth Wortman, who is on staff at Fairmount Christian Church—our sending church.

Seth brought a timely and heartfelt message from Psalm 42, reminding us that life is full of storms, spiritual slumps, and seasons of silence. With warmth, wisdom, and personal stories, he walked us through four simple but powerful words:

Real. Seek. Remember. Trust.

He reminded us that:

What you're going through is real.

In the storm, keep seeking God.

When you feel forgotten, remember His faithfulness.

Above all, trust—even when you don’t have the answers.

Whether you’re on the mountain or in the valley, God has not left you. He is still faithful.
