Spot the Signs

In a world filled with competing voices, discerning truth requires more than just listening to passionate or charismatic speakers. Jude warns us about false teachers who exhibit three key characteristics: autonomy (making themselves the authority), arrogance (trying to play God), and appetite (following instinct instead of insight). To tune into truth, we must listen more than react, lean into God's Word, speak truth with love, and evaluate whether voices are helping us follow Jesus or distracting us from Him. Every voice shapes us, so we must ensure we're tuned to the right one—not following our truth, but walking in Christ's.
