The Future
Children are like arrows in the hands of a warrior, meant to be shaped with intention and eventually released with purpose. With only 936 weekends from birth to eighteen, parents must be deliberate about passing down faith through everyday moments rather than waiting for perfect circumstances. Faith formation happens in ordinary rhythms like car rides, bedtime prayers, and dinner conversations where we consistently point children toward Jesus. The goal isn't to keep arrows in the quiver forever, but to prepare them to fly true when released. This principle applies to anyone investing in the next generation - parents, grandparents, mentors, and church family members who understand that love must eventually become trust as we release children to walk with Jesus on their own.
