When Faith Drifts

Spiritual drift doesn't happen when faith is attacked, but when attention slowly fades. While staying busy and productive, we can gradually shift away from our spiritual center without even realizing it. The loss of peace often serves as God's early warning system, alerting us when we've become misaligned. What captures our attention shapes our center, and a divided heart becomes unstable. The enemy works best in ordinary circumstances, using legitimate responsibilities and daily pressures to pull our focus away from God. Recognition is the first step toward being recentered.
