In a world obsessed with speed and instant gratification, there's profound beauty in learning to wait on God. The story of Simeon and Anna teaches us that waiting isn't wasting - it's worship.

Today's culture often suggests that faith only matters when it's loud, impressive, and visible. We're led to believe that real faith requires platforms, movements, and massive reach. But God's kingdom isn't built on the most visible - it's built on the most obedient.

In Luke 2:25-38, we meet two individuals who exemplified faithful waiting:

Simeon:

• Righteous and devout
• Promised by the Holy Spirit, he would see the Messiah
• Recognized Jesus as the salvation for all nations
• Stayed sensitive to the Spirit's daily leading

Anna:

• A widow who never left the temple
• Worshipped night and day with fasting and prayer
• Became the first evangelist in Luke's gospel
• Shared her testimony with others waiting for redemption

Their example shows us that:

• You don't have to be noticed to be faithful
• You don't have to be loud to be led by the Spirit
• You don't have to be in the spotlight to be in step with God
• Slow and steady, obedient faith still matters
